This classic drink has been around since its debut in 1806. While its name is “old” there is nothing antiquated about it. While it went through a downtime in popularity as the drink was stereotyped as something your great grandma guzzled down, it’s since been reborn as one of the “manliest” cocktails out there. By ordering one, you really can’t go wrong.

2 oz Bourbon (or opt for an American Single Malt Whiskey like Westland)

5 Dashes Angostura Bitters

1 Sugar Cube

  • Combine all ingredients and stir!
  • Serve in a rocks glass with ice (one large cube preferred). Garnish with a cherry. Best when consumed after a bad day at work or after a good day at work.
